LAZY MOUNTAIN GAZE

Kalga is located about 2,570 metres above sea level in the Parvati Valley, Himachal Pradesh, India.

This mountain village is a charming and peaceful place to stop off before starting the day-long trek up to Kheerganga, famous for its healing natural hot springs.

In this painting the green building, bottom left, is the 'dining room' of Snowline Guesthouse, a great place to stay, run by a beautiful Indian family and their pets.
